The Smarty Saver AED Fully Automatic Defibrillator (SM1B1002) meets all the requirements of a modern AED as it is designed to be reliable, simple and easy to use by anyone, whether they are trained or not. It is designed to provide quick and simple treatment of Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA) and to assist in delivering Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR).
The Fully Automatic defibrillator analyses the patient's ECG and if a shockable rhythm is detected it will warn the user of imminent shock delivery and after 5 seconds the defibrillating shock will be released automatically. The phase following the defibrillation, that is the Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation, will be guided by voice prompts and the metronome marking the various cycles of compressions and insufflations.
