Protect Hearing from High-Decibel Sounds
Two cup, padded ear muffs and noise cancelling ear defenders provide workwear hearing protection capable of drastically lowering volume using a 'noise reduction rating' or 'single number rating' scale. If the workplace noise levels reach 100dB and the defenders provide SNR 20, the wearer will be subjected to 80dB of noise. When choosing your noise cancelling ear defenders, please measure the average decibel noise level in your workplace, anything over 80dB for long periods of time can cause hearing damage.
